[Our Story ]
SCx CMC Solutions was founded by Ray Sison and Kevin Bittorf—two professionals with decades of experience navigating the complexities of drug development and commercialization from both sponsor and service provider perspectives.
During his time in business development at Patheon, Ray sold their services to biotech and specialty pharma teams seeking CDMO solutions. Over time, he saw a pattern:
Sponsors often lacked a skilled advocate who could coordinate a structured vendor selection and drive outsourcing decisions. Rather than selling solutions that didn’t fit their needs or budgets, he imagined how much more effective they could be with an experienced lead representing their interests instead.
Meanwhile, Kevin was leading CMC strategy for Hepatitis C therapies, navigating scientific complexity under pressure from development milestones and investor expectations. By tapping specialized expertise at critical moments, he saved months of effort and made faster, more confident decisions.
Over the years, both founders saw how the absence of specialized knowledge could stall promising programs—and how the right support, delivered at the right time, could change everything.
